DORDT UNIVERSITY
Dordt University Wind Symphony and Donae University Concert Band collaboration
On February 7 at 7:00 pm in the BJH Auditorium, the Dordt University Wind Symphony will be joined in a concert collaboration by Doane University Concert Band. Repertoire will include selections from David Maslanka, Karl L. King, William Owens, Johan de Meij and others. The concert will also feature guest conductor, Maren Hettinga, K-12 Music Education Major at Dordt. The concert will end with an arrangement of “America the Beautiful” by the combined ensembles. The concert is free and open to the public.
Broadway and Desserts at Dordt!
The Dordt University Concert Choir cordially invites you to come and enjoy an enchanting evening of Broadway tunes and sweet treats on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 7:00 pm in the Campus Center on Dordt’s campus. You’ll hear solo songs and a few duets from several popular Broadway shows, and you’ll be served delectable desserts by members of the choir while you listen! Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for students. Kids 5 and under are free, and childcare is available on-site. Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday Feb. 10 from the Music Department Office (712-722-6222, debra.alons@dordt.edu) or from a Concert Choir student. Proceeds benefit the concert choir tour to France in May.
Hegg Health Center
The next support group will be held on Wednesday, February 4, at 10:00 in the learning center at Hegg.
GUIDING STAR SIOUXLAND
Guiding Star Siouxland invites you to join us for our Annual Gala Fundraiser on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Prairie Winds Event Center in Orange City. The evening will include a catered meal, inspiring testimonies, and powerful stories from families whose lives have been impacted through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with dinner and the program beginning at 6:30 PM, and semi-formal attire is requested. This event supports Guiding Star Siouxland’s mission to provide life-affirming support and education to women and families in our community. Camp Connection Retreat Recap
In November, high school campers and their youth leaders gathered for a weekend of faith and fun! Josh Dykstra shared powerful messages from God’s Word—listen on our podcast here.
