Haan Auditorium on Monday, April 28 at 7:30pm.  The concert will include the percussion ensemble, brass ensemble, clarinet quartet, and the saxophone ensemble.  The small ensembles concert gives students and instructors the opportunity to play together in a wide variety of music from such composers as Bach, Verdi, Solomon, and Daiki Kato.  The piece “Celebration II” will feature 5 players performing on 1 marimba. The brass ensemble will perform a set of variations on the children’s tune “London Bridge is Falling Down” by Alfred Reed.  Also featured will be a beautiful arrangement of “Great is Thy Faithfulness” arranged by Dordt alum Sarah Goetsch, in remembrance of her grandmother.

The concert will culminate with the Wind Symphony presenting the monumental work ‘Symphony No. 7’ by David Maslanka.
