ATLAS & CFE
You are invited to attend an Open House at the Rock Valley ATLAS and Center for Financial Education (CFE) on Wednesday, January 22, from 2:00–5:00 p.m., 1334 Valley Drive, Rock Valley, IA.
This event is an opportunity to enjoy light refreshments and snacks while learning more about how ATLAS and CFE are serving individuals and families in our community through faith-based mentoring, financial education, and supportive services.
We welcome the chance to connect with local business owners, community leaders, and residents to share our mission, introduce our programs, and explore ways we can continue to strengthen Rock Valley together.
DORDT UNIVERSITY
Viking Mountain Brass, Saturday, January 24, 7:00 pm
Viking Mountain Brass from Greenville, TN was formed in 2023 and consists of five talented musicians dedicated to the art of brass chamber music playing. They will be giving a concert at 7pm on Jan. 24 in the BJ Haan auditorium as part of the NW Iowa Symphony Orchestra guest artist series. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at https://www.ticketleap.events/events/nisoiowa or at the door! We hope all can join us for this exciting guest concert.
Dordt University Faculty Recital, Saturday, January 31, 7:00 pm
Dordt University’s Music Faculty will perform a recital on Saturday, January 31 at 7:00pm in the Recital Hall. They will share diverse music by contemporary composers. All compositions were written within the last fifty years. Performers include Darren Van’t Hul, Patrice Ewoldt, Carrie Groenewold, Deb Vogel, Beverly Gibson, John Casey, and Jennifer Frens. Please stay for a reception of coffee and treats afterwards—and meet the performers!
GUIDING STAR SIOUXLAND
Guiding Star Siouxland invites you to join us for our Annual Gala Fundraiser on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Prairie Winds Event Center in Orange City. The evening will include a catered meal, inspiring testimonies, and powerful stories from families whose lives have been impacted through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with dinner and the program beginning at 6:30 PM, and semi-formal attire is requested. This event supports Guiding Star Siouxland’s mission to provide life-affirming support and education to women and families in our community. Camp Connection Retreat Recap
