Dordt University
Dordt Honors Recital
The Dordt University Music Department will present an Honors Recital on Friday Sept. 25 at 3:10 pm in the BJ Haan Auditorium. This recital will feature solo vocal and instrumental performances by top scholarship recipients from the incoming freshman class as well as some upperclassmen.
Dordt Honor Choir Concert Sept. 26
On Sept. 24-26, nominated high school choral singers from around the country will join us on campus at Dordt University for the 2026 Dordt Honor Choir Weekend. The ensemble will spend Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday morning in rehearsals and leadership activities which will culminate in a final concert at 1pm on Saturday, Sept. 26 in the BJ Haan Auditorium. The Honor Choir will be conducted by Dr. Ryan Smit, Director of Choral Activities at Dordt University. Love INC
Love INC Sioux County has a volunteer Prayer Team that meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from 9 – 10 a.m. at the office in Rock Valley. We would like to invite anyone who is passionate about prayer to join our team! We pray specifically for the churches throughout Sioux County and for the Love INC movement locally and nationwide. Love INC Sioux County is seeking a part-time Church & Community Relations Coordinator. (20 hours/no Fridays). Qualifications:
· A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for Christian service
· Strong interpersonal, communication and computer skills
· A motivated, self-starter that works independently and collaboratively w/in a team setting
· Comfortable giving presentations and praying in groups
· Willingness to work with a variety of Christian church denominations

ZoeCare (formerly Guiding Star)
1 out of every 3 families in Iowa struggle to provide enough diapers for their children. ZoeCare, Swaddling Clothes, NW Iowa Baby Shower, and Maria Magdalena Church are coordinating efforts to raise awareness of the need for diapers in our area and educate on the support we offer! You can help families in need during diaper need awareness week (September 15-21) by donating diapers and wipes to the following drop off locations:
