What We Believe

We believe that humanity is Totally depraved, Unconditionally elected, Limited atonement, Irresistible Grace, and Perseverance of the Saints.

We believe that we are saved through Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone, revealed in God’s Word alone, for God’s glory alone.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

We believe that God reveals himself Triune as three persons – Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible is one story of God working through time to show his work in action.

We believe the Bible is the authoritative Word of God.  It contains all that people in any age need to know for their salvation.  We call the Bible God’s Word, believing that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God speaks to us through His Word.

We believe in the death of Christ on the cross as our only means whereby we are saved by God.

We believe in election that God chose us from before the creation of the world to be his and he will work in his people through the Holy Spirit to draw us to himself and accept in faith the work of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the assurance of faith.
• In this assurance, we are welcomed to come once for the sign and seal of baptism that often happens in our weakness of infancy or in a recognized weakness as adults.
• Baptism is a celebration of God’s sign and seal on the heads of our children in which we recognize God’s work and call on Him for assistance to raise our children to know and love the Lord Jesus.
• After a period of training and instruction, we look forward to each child recognizing the grace and mercy that God has given them through the Holy Spirit’s work.  In His time, He brings his people forward to publicly profess their faith.
• This profession is not only entrance into the communicant membership of the church, but also a welcome invitation to partake in the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

We believe Communion is a time of celebration and remembrance whereby we acknowledge Christ not only as our Savior but also as our host spiritually, who invites us to his table to partake of the elements of bread and wine.  The Communion is available to anyone from a Bible believing Christ-centered church who has made public profession of faith to come to the table of grace to be refreshed in body and soul through faith in Christ.

We believe that the experience of God’s grace revealed in his Word, experienced in the sacraments, explained in the three forms of unity, brings us not only hope but the command of Christ who said in Matthew 28:19-20 - “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We believe that there are four movements in the Bible:  Creation, Fall, Redemption, and the New Creation.

We believe that God is Sovereign and will accomplish His will in His time for His glory.

We believe that God’s covenant is with His people.

CHURCH POSITIONS/POLICIES
We believe that one should be faithful in their attendance of worship, and that everyone ALWAYS has an active role in the opportunities of the church.

We believe that Family Faith Visitation is important and encourage it to be at least semi-annually.

Office Bearers are reserved for men alone.  Elders and Deacons are to sign the covenant for office bearers when installed in office.
