Pastor Ben picked us up from the dorm and we headed to the church for our last day of work. It was amazing how fast our week went. We continued making cement and some of the crew was helping apply it to the walls. The crew foreman wanted a load of sand sifted and carried by bucket up to the second floor, so they could proceed with making cement up their for those walls. Mark & Vern immediately decided it was not in their best interest to bucket a load of sand up the stairs. They talked to someone who had a pulley and soon Mark and Vern had figured out a way to hook up the pulley and rope. We proceeded to sift sand and pulley it up to the second floor window where Darlys and Wanda would empty the buckets. We worked until 2:00 today and then it was time to eat dinner and say our "goodbyes". This was a very difficult time for everyone. Who would have thought that such close relationships would have been made in such a short time. We headed back to the dorms and later Pastor Ben & Amy would come by and we went out for a steak supper with them and said our goodbyes to them as well.
